THE Band
Steve MortonLead Vocals - Bass
What do world-class front men/vocalists/bassists Sting, Geddy Lee and that guy from Nightranger have in common with Steve? Nothing. No seriously – we tried to think of something but
couldn’t agree upon anything believable. That being said, he’s not too bad of a singer. Covering the lead vocal lines for the band, Steve is a decent mimic. As a bass player, he’s considered an above average dancer. Ask the other guys in the band why he’s the frontman and, just like Steve, they’ll remind you who owns the PA, lights, trailer and home in which they practice. Steve is proud to serve as Brad's personal drum tech. |
Tom RhotonLead Guitar - Vocals
An accomplished guitarist originally from Phoenix, Tom sharpened his classical chops before realizing it’s a lot easier to just play four chords coupled with The Truth. He regularly takes on vocal duties and has a fine baritone voice. You can hear him on all the low notes Morton can’t hit.
Tom reluctantly serves as Steve's bass tech. |
Brad WilsonDrums
Considered one of Salt Lake County’s loudest drummers, Brad is the only native Californian in our band. Solid meter, dynamics, musicality, tuning, above average intelligence - those aren’t words normally used to describe a drummer. But he’s so good, we actually turn him up in our monitors.
Brad lovingly serves as Tom's personal guitar tech and protects his pedal board from unnecessary spills. |
Steven RamosSax - Rythmn Guitar - Keys - Vocals
His friends know him simply as "SaxMaster" and are careful spellers. Steven Ramos has been playing the Saxophone since the rest of the band members were experiencing their first midlife crisis and that's frankly, been a bit. A music degree graduate, he's currently under consideration for a senior post within the fast food industry (and by senior we mean, "High School Senior")
Steven plays the alto and tenor sax as well as guitar and keyboard while building his chops on the Saxaboom. He brings "Street cred" to the band through his rapping and Mongolian Throat singing (This is not a joke.) Steven is still looking for a loving saxophone tech. |
Anthony SwansonSound Engineer - Social Media - Bass
Every band needs that special someone someone to make them sound good right? Well, Anthony sure helps make us sound better than we think! With many years of experience of mixing bands and recording live shows, our shows have never sounded better thanks to him.
When not running sound, you can find him taking pictures of our best sides and running our social media, or chasing his son.
